Guangzhou: Webmaster Wu Wei is Harrased

According to Boxun's Chinese news release today, Wu Wei, a famous webmaster, is being harrased by local police and Street committe. The police wants him to be out of Guangzhou City where Wu Wei's wife works.

Wu Wei's story was reported by Washington Post (Webmaster Finds Gaps in China's Net ) in 2004, then he lost his job. Wu Wei has been forced to move four times as police warned the apartment owners each time. More recently, police started to visit his wife's work place and dangerging his wife's job.
Police has told Wu Wei that they will force him out of Guangzhou City in a few days.
