Chinese worker dead in Russia, worked as a slave
(July 13, 2005)According to East Asia Economic and Finance (China news paper), one worker who has been working in Russian farm was dead because his illness was not treated.
Qu Zhonghai went to Russia through labor export. He works 18 hours a day, and can only earn about $120 a month. Mr. Qu could not see a doctor as the low income. Extreme long working hours might caused his health problem and dead of poverty.
The report said that he was not paid yet, his family may not get his salary forever. (boxun.com)
It is strange in China, rich people owes poor people money. Many workers in China do not get paid for their work, many construction workers can not get paid until the building is finished. Accoring to the official report, billions of unpaid salary causes conflicts.
