Thinking from Zhao Ziyang's House-Arrest until Death to Aung San Suu Kyi'sHouse-Arrest till Today

The Ex-premier Zhao Zi Yang ,who insists in democracy, non-violence and the rule by law of China, has passed away faintly.

Aung San Suu Kyi, who pursues democracy, non-violence and the rule by law of the Union of Burma, is now still house-arrested by the military regime of Burma. Since 1989, she has been imprisioned for 9 years.

Zhao Zi Yang's whole life is to serve the people . When he was young, he saw the hardship of the Chinese people ,so he joined the revolution .After People's Leberation, he found the people were still suffering from poor and hunger, so he gave up Mao's policy ,practised fearlessly Liu Shaoqi's Revinism and improved people's living standard. The Chinese people said at that time ," if you want food, please ask Zhao Zi Yang".

After Mao died, Deng Xiaoping's Era came. Deng Xiaoping, Hu Yaobang andZhao Zi Yang worked hard together and developed China becoming theGreat-Power of World-Economiy .

But the political reformation of Zhao Zi Yang and Hu Yaopang were confronted by the old communist leaders and the old forces.

The world-shocking Chinese student movement of Tian An Men Square happened in 1989. Zhao Zi Yang refused to use the tanks and machine guns against the peeacefully demonstrating students and the sympathizing masses who opposed corruption and demanded democracy.

Having been accused of anti-revolutionary activity ,the patriotic students were killed, arrested and jailed.Zhao Zi Yang was also accused as party-splitter and counter-revolution supporter and was house-arrested by his selfish colleague and party-members. how justiceless and lawless it is!

Let us check the case of Aung San Suu Kui in Burma. Aung San Suu Kyi¡¯s mother was Burmese ambassador in India. She grew up and was educated in India.Then she went to England for university study ,married with an English scholar and has 2 sons. It is a very common story.

In 1987 she went back to see her sick mother. She saw with her own eyes how the military regime cruelly short dead and beat dead the peacefully demonstrating students, monks and citizens on 8.8.1988.

She heard and saw with great shock how various ethnic people had been suffering every day and every night: family members were killed and houses burned, mothers and sisters were raped collectively by so-called Burmanisation policy ,the whole villages were forced to move and to work .All these monstrious crimes had been done by the military regime!

Aung San Suu Kyi has seen that people of all nationarities are suffering from civil war, hunger, illness and homelessness, children being unable to go to school, too weak and thin because of malnutrition, thousands and thousands of hungry Burmese refugee are at the UN refugee camps at the Thailand-border.........

The patriotic blood of his father ,General Aung San, is circulating in her body which activates her to shout and fight for all ethnic people of Union of Burma. At once thousands and thousands of Burmese people come to her. She established in 1990 the National League for Democracy to participate in the General Election. Her Party and the ethnic democratic parties won the absolute majority.

However, 15 years has passed by, till today the military-dictatorship regime does not give over the people's power to the people's representatives. Aung San Suu Kyi has been banned to go outdoor ,she can also not go abroad to bring back the Nobel Peace Praise and other international awards.

The shameless military regime is clever at lying,complots,divide-and-rule,laying his own fault at somebody else's door.

In 1948 under the pretext of "safeguarding the independence",he launched the civil war, till now having been tyannized all other nationalities and races of Burma.

In 1962 on the pretext of "Union of Burma is threatened with dissociation" ,he seized the state power ,abolished the Constitution and ruled the country with the military dictatorship.

On 7 july 1962 , pretexting "action against anti-revolution",he shot dead the peacefully demonstrating Rangoon-University students.

In 1963-64, excusing "the capitalists are detroying our national economy",he nationalized (=robbed ) private-own enterprises and blanked out (=plundered nationwide) the bank-notes of 50 kyats and 100 kyats.

In 1967 he killed Burma¡¯s Chinese , stirred anti-Chinese riot and ran away from his economic crisis and nationwide rice-shortage.

Since then, he plotted different conflicts under different situations: between Burmans and Burma¡¯s Indians, between Buddhist Karens and Christ Karens, between Buddhists and Muslim , between this ethnic race and that ethnic race etc. to escape from his increasing economic, politic and military crisis.

Since 1989, he has detained Aung San Suu Kyi total 9 years. He stigmatizes her as the nation-betrayer, the following dog of western countries, the nation-splitter, the transgressor of nation and people etc etc.

Under the pressure of inside and outside Burma, the military regime released Aung San Suu Kyi in May 2004 and sent the mob to kill her when she was in Upper Burma on May 29-30. The murder-plot failed ,so he "protected" her at home until end of December, then he declared to detain her for another one year for sake of the national security.

The military regime till today has cut off the supply of electricity, water, telephone line , TV line ,medicine, food and non-food. He has tried in vain to mix poison in her food and drinks.

A famous astrologer has predicted recently that Aung San Suu Kyi will be killed definitely this year.

Aung San Suu Kui is Gandhi-ist (Sai Wansai, the general secretary of Shan Democratic Union told me , "It is a pitty that the Burmese fascist regime is not the democratic and humanic English government"). She opposed any kinds of armed struggle and violence ( she has condenmed recently those students who attacked with bombs to the government offices, railway stations and tourist places).

She stands for democracy and non-violence,which she believes will rescue Burma.

Burmese people, who love non-violence and democracy ,support her strongly and firmly.India, Japan, EU and USA etc support her strongly and firmly too.

Burmese people, UN and almost the whole international community have demanded several times the military regime to release Aung San Suu Kyi at once without any conditions.

However, Aung San Suu Kyi has declared that she wants to be freed only when the last political prisoner comes out of the jail-door. How great she is! How full of Buddhist mitta (loving kindness) and garuna (mercy) she is!

Aung San Suu Kyi supports also the ethnic forces of Karen, Shan, Karenni, Mon,Kachin, Chin etc, which fight , both armed and unarmed , against the military regime for more than 50 years. Burma has more than 135 nationalities and races, which have been struggled for their national rights and human rights by every means. The civil war policy of the Burmese military regime is: kill all, burn all, loot all, rape colletively, forced labour and forced displacement. Recent years, these monstrous crimes have been brought by the oppressed nationalities of Burma to the UN Security Committee ,the International Court and the International Crime Court.

Burma consists nowaday of three main forces: the military regime, the democratic foce and the ethnic forces. None of them can swallow the others.

Let us pray:

1. Aung San Suu Kyi and all other political prisoners will be released soon. Three partites: the military regime, the democratic force and the ethnic forces will negotiate together successfully for a Federal Union of Burma.

2. All 135 nationalities and races of Burma including Burma's Chinese will enjoy in the near future peace, democracy and national equality and equal rights.

3.Union of Burma will be, in the near future, prosperous, rich , peaceful and joyful for ever. (boxun.com)
