AP is wrong in its report about SARS arrest

(May 16, 2003) One report from AP on Thursday says that China arrested the first person who spread SARS, he is a doctor. In fact, there is a least one arrest before this doctor. On May 5th, one patient was arrested in Inner-mongolia after he escaped from a hospital in Beijing and went back to Inner-mongolia. This patient was charged RMB 5000 and he could not afford, this might be the reason for his escaping. When he was arrested, his wife and mother had died of SARS.
