Two new Internet arrests in China
(Mar. 19, 2003) China continues to arrest Internet users who discuss polictical issues on Internet.
On March 13rd, Luo Changfu was arrested from his home in Chongqing, the charge is: Subverse State-power. Luo used pen-name:Justice and Conciousness to publish dozens of articles about China political issues. In one article, he asked China government to release Liu Di - a college female student from Beijing Normal Univ. who was arrested in Nov. 2002. (博讯boxun.com)
On Feb 21st, Cai Lujun was arrested from his home in ShiJiaZhuang (Hebei).The chareg is: subverse state-power.
Cai uses his real name to urge government to release Liu Di.
Boxun reported the two cases based on reliable source: Cai is 34 years old, and is working in Shanghai.
Luo is 40.
