Undergraduate Students Work as Baby Sitter
(Jan. 05, 2003) XinHuaNews: Many undergraduate students in Changchun will work as baby sitter during the winter break. In China, the 4-week winter break started from mid-Jan until Mid Feb. that is after Chinese New Year. Chinese News Year is treated as Christmas in China. Students will take the domestic jobs to earn some money for the tuition.
As a baby sitter, the students (mostly female) will cook for the family while taking care the kids.
According to Boxun News, some students have been raped or harrassed by the hosts.
