Stop approving new net bars before August 31st
(Aug. 13, 2002) XinHua News: August 13, Industrial and Commercial Bureau, Culture Ministry and Public Security Ministry anounced together that no new netbars be approved, the existing net-bars must not add any new equipment before August 31st.
In recent months, China has closed more than 20,000 Net bars. Many people must wait for hours to check email as too few net bars are allowed to open.
